A film suitable for visitors of all ages on the life and inventions of Johannes Gutenberg is shown at regular intervals in the projection room on the ground floor of the Gutenberg Museum. The film is in German and screened at 9.40, 10.40 and 11.40 am and at 1.40, 2.40 and 3.40 pm (Tuesday to Saturday), on sunday at 11.40 am and at 12.40, 1.40, 2.40 and 3.40 pm. Our educational printing workshop (Druckladen) gives interested parties and individuals the chance to get to grips with letterpress and gravure printing. This guided tour for children from 6 years onward consists of a printing demonstration including type-founding and a little tour through several sections of the museum. No reservation required. Participation fee: Euro 2 per child (+ admission).

Every second Saturday of the month (2:00 - 3:00), meeting point at the museum cash desk at 2.00 pm.
